Essential session cookie
TheTecTricks uses a session cookie to support account login, CSRF security and short-lived messages. It is configured as HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, and uses the Secure flag when the site is served over HTTPS.
Browser local storage
The theme choice and acknowledgement of the site’s informational privacy notice may be stored in your browser.
Advertising and consent
When the administrator enables advertising, advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies. The administrator must configure appropriate consent tooling for regions where consent is required. TheTecTricks includes an administration field for the script supplied by the selected certified CMP.
Changing choices
Advertising consent choices should be managed through the configured consent platform. Browser settings can also remove site cookies and local storage, although signing in may stop working if essential cookies are blocked.
